Installation Art

    My group and I have decided to do a huge shoe as our group installation art. After some research here and there,We started to do a mock up of the real thing.

   the 1st step was to make to apply newspaper n stick them together to get the proper 

shape of the shoe

Then we covered it with layers of newspaper and stuck them together with glue and colored

 it white to make the structure more strong.

We added more details . Each of us were given separate side to work on. So my one of my team member started working on back of the shoes with leaf.

 I was given the left side of the shoes i used treee barks to cover it all up and colored it white and green to represent my country flag. its a reverse image.. because i dint want the actual flag made on the shoe and disrespect it

   After applying the tree bark and coloring it my side part look as shown below.. my other teem mate she used rice for covering the front part and colored the rest white.. she did so to represent her culture of rice

Basic Digital Skills- Task 1

   For this first task, we were asked to sketch  forms that represents ourselves. We will then have to choose one or a few textures from the items that we have collected in Port Dickson and apply the texture onto the form. We can choose to do it the manual way or by photo-shop and stuff.
